1. Who we are

Star Swim Aquatic ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at starswim.com and provides swimming coaching services in Singapore. Our contact email is keslow@ymail.com.

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

2. What data we collect

When you contact us through our enquiry form or via WhatsApp, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Mobile number
  • Email address
  • Information about the swimming lessons you're enquiring about (e.g. classes for children or adults)
  • Any additional information you choose to share in your message

We do not collect payment details, NRIC numbers, or any sensitive personal data.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide information about our programmes
  • Arrange and coordinate swimming lessons
  • Send lesson reminders or schedule updates if you become a student

We do not use your data for automated marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your enquiry or lessons.

4. How we store your data

Enquiry details submitted through our contact form are emailed to Star Swim Aquatic staff and kept in private email inboxes. Enquiries received before October 2026 were also logged in a private Google Sheet accessible only to our staff. WhatsApp conversations are stored within WhatsApp.

We retain enquiry data for up to 2 years. If you become a student, we retain lesson records for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet any legal obligations.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data may be processed by the following service providers solely to operate our services:

  • Postmark — to deliver contact form enquiries to us by email
  • Google — for email, spreadsheet storage, website analytics and ad measurement
  • Meta (WhatsApp) — for direct messaging

These providers have their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

6. Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking (loaded through the Google tag). They set cookies so we can see how many people visit, which pages they use, and whether our ads lead to enquiries. We only look at this data in aggregate, not to identify individual visitors.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you for non-lesson purposes
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal retention requirements)
