When you contact us through our enquiry form or via WhatsApp, we may collect:

  • Mobile number

  • Information about the swimming lessons you're enquiring about (e.g. classes for children or adults)
  • Any additional information you choose to share in your message

We do not collect payment details, NRIC numbers, or any sensitive personal data.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide information about our programmes
  • Arrange and coordinate swimming lessons
  • Send lesson reminders or schedule updates if you become a student

We do not use your data for automated marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your enquiry or lessons.

4. How we store your data

Enquiry details submitted through our contact form are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Star Swim Aquatic staff. WhatsApp conversations are stored within WhatsApp.

We retain enquiry data for up to 2 years. If you become a student, we retain lesson records for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet any legal obligations.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data may be processed by the following service providers solely to operate our services:

  • Google — for email and spreadsheet storage
  • Meta (WhatsApp) — for direct messaging

These providers have their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. No cookie consent banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you for non-lesson purposes
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal retention requirements)
